    hmmm…I’m completely in awe of working divas – I don’t I qualify :)

    Karen, in answer to your question: I have a German brand sewing machine (Pfaff), which is
    pretty standard, no fancy electronics either. Singer is a good brand as well. Just make sure you have atleast 12 different stitch types and automatic button hole stitching. On mine I can lift the foot up higher, which is useful for thick fabrics!
